Change your organization’s timezone

Set your organization’s timezone to ensure that all email notifications from StatusGator align with your local time—making them more intuitive and easier to act on.

Why this matters

  • Notifications match your timezone: Incident updates, status changes, and other alerts in emails will display times in the timezone you select. If left unset, they default to UTC, which may require mental conversion.
  • Web display remains user-local: Times shown on the website or public status pages are still auto-adjusted based on each viewer’s browser settings—not the organization’s timezone.

How to set your organization’s timezone

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Organization Settings.
  3. In the settings page, choose your timezone from the dropdown.

  1. Click Save to apply the change.

That’s it—now all your email notifications will be delivered in your preferred timezone.
