Hide monitors on your status page

Not every monitor needs to be shown on your public or private status page. You may want to track certain services internally without displaying them to your users. StatusGator lets you hide monitors while still collecting data and sending alerts in your board.

Why hide monitors

  • Exclude internal-only services from your public-facing page.
  • Keep your status page focused on the services your customers care about.
  • Track dependencies without confusing your audience.

How to hide monitors

  1. Go to your Status page settings.
  2. Open the Monitors tab.
  3. You’ll see a list of all monitors connected to this board.
  4. Uncheck the box next to any monitor you want to hide.

Changes are saved automatically. Hidden monitors no longer appear on your status page, but they remain active in your board and continue to send alerts, reports, and updates.

Managing hidden monitors

  • Re-check a monitor at any time to make it visible on your status page again.
  • Hidden monitors continue to count toward your plan’s monitor limits.
  • Hiding is specific to a status page, so the same monitor can be visible on one page but hidden on another.

Hiding monitors helps you tailor your status page for the right audience while keeping your monitoring coverage complete.
