Website monitor overview

A website monitor checks the availability and performance of any website or API endpoint at regular intervals. It alerts you when the site becomes unavailable, responds slowly, or doesn’t match expected content.

Open the website monitor details page

  1. Go to Monitors in the left menu.
  2. Click the monitor name to open its details, or three-dot menu () on the right and select View details.

What you can do here

  • See uptime history and performance metrics.
  • Run a check immediately.
  • Pause and resume monitoring.
  • Open configuration to change settings.

History

  • Shows a log of past downtime events with incident name, time posted, duration, and severity.
  • Switch between:
    • Table view – a detailed list of events.
    • Calendar view – a visual timeline.

Info: How far back you can view history depends on your StatusGator plan.
