Email integration with StatusGator
You can receive real-time service status updates from StatusGator via email. This is the simplest way to stay informed about outages, degradations, and maintenance events without needing a chat integration.
Note: By default, the Email notifications integration is already set up when you create your StatusGator account. The email address used for this integration will be the same as the one you registered with.
Setting up email notifications
Log in to your StatusGator account.
Navigate to the board you want to receive email alerts for.
Go to Integrations → Notifications category → Email.

Note: You can add multiple email addresses by separating them with commas.
Click Add or Save.
Send a test notification to confirm delivery.
That’s it — StatusGator will now send updates directly to your inbox.
StatusGator features via email
- Real-time notifications – receive alerts about outages, degradations, and scheduled maintenance.
- Early Warning Signals – get notified about potential issues before they are published on official status pages.
- Quick access to links– each email contains direct links to:
- The official status page (if available)
- The unofficial StatusGator status page
- The service home page
- Twitter updates (if available)
- Your StatusGator board
Managing multiple boards
Each board can be configured with its own email recipients. This makes it easy to route alerts to the right teams — for example:
- Engineering board → engineering@company.com
- Support board → support@company.com
You can add multiple addresses per board if needed.
Updating or removing an email address
- Change recipient – go to the board’s Integrations → Email section, remove the old address, and add the new one.
- Remove email notifications from a board – open the board’s Integrations page and delete the email entry.
