Status modal embed

The Status modal allows you to display a pop-up on your website that shows the status of your monitored services. By default, the modal is always visible, but you can configure it to only appear when there are outages. This provides a simple and unobtrusive way to keep your users informed.

Set up the Status modal

  1. Go to Integrations → Embeds → Status Modal → Add.

  1. Configure your modal settings:
    • Position on page – choose where the modal appears: Bottom left, Bottom right, Top left, or Top right.
    • Visibility – decide whether the modal should always show, or only when outages are detected.
    • Theme – select System, Light, or Dark mode to match your site’s design.
  2. Copy the embed code provided.
  3. Paste the code into your website or application where you want the modal to appear.

Your site will now display a live modal with real-time status updates for your monitored services.

Other embed options

In addition to the Status modal, StatusGator also provides:

  • iFrame embed – embed your full status page directly on your website.
  • Status embed – add a compact widget with a summary and link to your status page.
  • TV embed – display your status page on a large screen, perfect for offices or NOCs.
