Connect StatusGator to Webex
You can connect StatusGator to Cisco Webex to receive real-time service status updates directly in your Webex spaces.
Set up the integration
- Open Cisco Webex and go to the space where you want to receive updates.
- Click the space name, then select Add integrations & Bots from the settings.
- In the App Hub, search for and select Webhooks.
- Create a new Webhook for that space and copy the Webhook URL provided by Webex.
- Go to your StatusGator board.
- Navigate to Integrations → Chat and click Add next to Webex.
- Paste the webhook URL into the configuration field.
- Save your settings and send a test notification to confirm everything is working.
That’s it — your board is now connected to Webex, and updates will appear directly in your chosen space.
Features
Once connected, StatusGator delivers essential alerts to your team:
- Real-time notifications – receive instant updates when monitored services experience outages, degradation, or scheduled maintenance.
- Early Warning Signals – get notified about potential problems before they are published on official status pages.
Manage multiple boards
Each board in StatusGator can be connected to one Webex space. If you’d like different alerts to go to different spaces (for example, one for Engineering and another for Support), create an additional board in StatusGator and connect it to another Webex space using a unique webhook URL.
Reconnect or change Webex spaces
- Change Webex space – create a new webhook in Webex and update the integration settings in StatusGator with the new URL.
- Remove integration from one board – go to the board’s Integrations page in StatusGator and click Remove integration.
- Reconnect to Webex – re-create the webhook in your chosen space, copy the new URL, and re-add it in StatusGator.
