Delete a monitor
If you no longer want to track a service, you can delete its monitor from your board. Once deleted, StatusGator will stop checking and reporting incidents for that service.
There are three ways to delete a monitor:
1. From the Monitors page
- Go to the Monitors page.
- Find the monitor you want to remove.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the monitor.
- Select Delete Monitor.
2. From the Monitor details page
- Open the monitor by clicking its name in the Monitors list.
- In the details page, click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the top-right.
- Select Delete Monitor.
3. From the Monitor configuration page
- Go to the Monitors page.
- Open the monitor’s Configure menu.
- Scroll down and click Delete monitor under the icon section.
Deleting a monitor is permanent. You will no longer receive updates or notifications for that service. If needed, you can always add the service back later as a new monitor.
Note: For Website and Ping monitors, you have the option to pause monitoring instead of deleting. Pausing temporarily stops checks without removing the monitor entirely, which can be useful if you plan to resume monitoring later.
