Whitelist StatusGator IPs
If your firewall or security system blocks unknown traffic, you may need to whitelist StatusGator’s IP addresses to ensure accurate monitoring.
How it works
StatusGator operates monitoring nodes in multiple regions worldwide. All requests will originate from the static IP addresses listed below.
StatusGator performs uptime monitoring by sending requests to your website or API. These include:
- HTTP/HTTPS requests (Website monitor)
- ICMP ping requests (Ping monitor)
Current monitoring IPs
- monitor-us-east.statusgator.com — 34.230.98.138
- monitor-us-west.statusgator.com — 54.200.177.208
- monitor-eu-west.statusgator.com — 34.250.135.124
- monitor-au-east.statusgator.com — 54.153.216.98
- monitor-uk-east.statusgator.com — 3.10.66.24
Important: These IPs may change over time. Always refer to this article or the official IP list for the latest information.
How to whitelist
- Add the above IPs to the allow list in your firewall, CDN, security appliance, or application settings.
- If supported, group them together under a label such as Monitoring Traffic.
- Save and apply your configuration changes.
- Test monitoring from StatusGator to confirm that requests are no longer blocked.
Best practices
Stay updated: Subscribe to change notifications in your firewall/CDN, if available.
Automate updates: Fetch the current IP list daily from https://statusgator.com/ips.txt
or via the StatusGator API and automatically refresh your allow list.
Verify access: After whitelisting, run a monitoring test to ensure StatusGator can reach your site.
