Status modal integration
Overview
The Status Modal Embed allows you to display a live summary of your service status directly on your website. This compact modal informs users of ongoing incidents or scheduled maintenance and includes a link to your full StatusGator status page.
Designed to be non-intrusive, the modal helps build trust with your users by increasing transparency—right where it matters most.
This integration is available under the Embeds category and supports incidents and maintenance. It can be used on all StatusGator plans, including Free and all paid tiers.
How to set up the Status modal embed
Navigate to Integrations from the left-hand menu.
Select the Embeds category.
Click Add next to Status modal integration.
Choose the following configuration options:
Position: Select where on the page the modal will appear (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right).
Theme: Choose between a dark or light appearance to match your website design.
Visibility setting: Optionally, enable “Show the modal even if there are no outages” to always display the modal.
Save changes and copy the generated embed code.
Paste the embed code into your website’s HTML, preferably just before the closing
</body>tag.
