Connecting to Slack (Beta)
StatusGator offers seamless integration with Slack, allowing you to receive real-time status updates directly in your Slack workspace.
Follow these simple steps to connect StatusGator to Slack:
1. Visit the StatusGator website and Sign in to your account. If you don't have an account yet, you can easily Create one using our free trial option.
2. Go to Integrations and choose the Chat category.
3. Look for the Slack integration option and click on the Add button to proceed.
4. Follow the prompts to authorize StatusGator to connect with your Slack workspace. You may need to sign in to your Slack account if you're not already logged in.
5. After authorization, you'll be asked to select the Slack channel where you want to receive status updates from StatusGator. Choose the appropriate channel and Save your selection.
6. Once you've saved your alert channel, StatusGator is connected to your Slack workspace. You can now receive notifications from the connected board. Feel free to test the integration by sending your first notification to the selected channel.
To connect additional boards, simply follow the same steps: go to Integrations, find the Slack integration, and click the Add button. Since StatusGator has already been globally connected to your Slack workspace, proceed directly to choosing the alert channel without reconnecting.
