How quickly can new services be added to StatusGator?
StatusGator users often need to have new cloud services that are not yet monitored by StatusGator added to the platform. Although we aggregate the status of more than 3,600 services already, there are still many more that can be added. Services you need can be specifically tailored to the needs of your particular company – be it a cloud service for finance, education, cloud infrastructure, or any other need.
If a service has a publicly accessible status page we can add it. If the status page uses one of the many status page providers we already support, then the service can be added in a matter of minutes. Therefore, we can add most services to StatusGator the same day requested.
Sometimes services use custom status page formats. We can ingest those, too though the turnaround time might be longer. We prioritize service additions for customers on our Venture and Enterprise plans.
To request a new service to be added, all you need to do is contact us with this request at hi@statusgator.com or via the feedback widget.
To do that, click on Add Monitor in the upper-right, then select Service Monitor:
You will be taken to the next page, where you need to click on "Request" in the upper-right
It would be super helpful if you had a link to the desired service public status page, as it helps us drastically speed up the ingestion process.
With our private status ingestion feature, we also support authenticated status pages if you have your own account for a specific instance.
