StatusGator normalizes incident details published to vendor status pages into one of four statuses:
Down incidents These are typically labeled as Outage, or Downtime, or Major Incident on a status page. Often they are colored in red, though styles vary from page to page.
Warn incidents These are typically labeled as Partial Outage, Degraded Service, or Minor Incident on a status page. Typically they are colored yellow or orange. Some status pages offer Informational messages which we usually categorize into Warn incidents.
Maintenance incidents Most commonly used for pre-scheduled maintenance that has low impact on end users.
UP Most commonly used for cases when a service is functioning without any issues or downgraded performance.
