Setting a Monitor Display Name
Sometimes, your team might know a service by a different name, or you might have the same service or website monitor with multiple configurations that need distinct names. You can assign a display name for each service on your status board.
To customize service names:
1. Sign in to StatusGator and choose the relevant board.
2. Find the monitor you wish to rename, click the three dots icon next to the service, and select Configure option.
3. On the configuration page, you have the option to change the Display name. This name will replace the default service name on all user-facing pages, including your authenticated admin board, public board, and notifications.
4. Scroll down and press Save to save changes.
