Connect StatusGator to StatusHub

The StatusHub integration lets you sync service status changes from StatusGator directly to your StatusHub components. When a monitored service goes down, StatusGator will automatically update the corresponding component’s status on your StatusHub page.

Set up the integration

To connect StatusGator to StatusHub, you’ll need to configure the integration in both StatusGator and StatusHub.

1. Get your StatusHub connection details

1. Open the account dropdown in the top-right corner and select API Key.
2. Create and copy your API Key.

3. Find your StatusHub subdomain. This is the short string before .statushub.io in your StatusHub URL. You can also find it under Hub Config → Main Settings.

4. Note your API URL. You’ll need this along with your API key and subdomain when configuring the integration in StatusGator.

You also need to enable the StatusGator integration for each service you want StatusGator to update.

In StatusHub:

1. Go to Hub Config → Services and Integrations.
2. Find the service you want to connect.
3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the service and select Edit.

4. Open the Integrations tab.
5. Under Select V1 integrations, check StatusGator.

6. Click the gear icon next to StatusGator to configure additional options, such as Create events as drafts. Save your changes.

Repeat these steps for each StatusHub service you’ve mapped to a StatusGator monitor.

2. Configure StatusHub in StatusGator

1. Go to Integrations → Status Pages → StatusHub → Add.
2. Enter the required StatusHub connection details:
   • API Key
   • Subdomain
   • API URL

3. Click Save.

3. Link your monitors to StatusHub components

After connecting StatusHub:

1. Open the Monitors tab in the StatusHub integration settings.

2. Map each StatusGator monitor to the corresponding StatusHub component.
3. Repeat this for every monitor you want StatusGator to update.

Important: StatusGator must be enabled for the service in StatusHub. Mapping the monitor in StatusGator alone is not enough to complete the integration.

Once both sides are configured, status changes detected by StatusGator can be sent to the corresponding StatusHub components.
